So confused!  Was on google and Amazon.  Every time I choose a product, I read a review against it!  There is a lot of junk out there.

I have a sensitive stomach and have discontinued vitamins in the past because of stomach upset. I know my eating does not povide me with the nutrients my senior body should have and because I will be having a few joint surgeries in the near future I'm thinking of starting vitamins again.

My husband is religious about taking his vitamins.  He has a stomach of iron but also has had may bouts of serious medical conditions that he bounced back from.  Maybe the vitamins plus he eats well!  I don't have the appetite he has.

Thought I would come here to see what others are doing.  Thanks.

I take only Andrew Lessman on HSN.  If he is not on special, I go to his company PRO CAPS.  No fillers, no artificial coloring,no binders or fillers. He also gives a good education on fire when on air.

I am a very healthy mid 80, and still live alone and do all my own work around house and yard.  I also exercise a and  just have energy. I swear by his vits.   Also he promises no stomach upset.  I never have .  His tablets are all in powder form, no hard capsules.  He is pricey, but you get what you pay.

I take D3, a one a day multi, and C. My stomach is touchy so, like others here, I  find that powder capsules work best for me. I steer clear of anything in a hard tablet. .  Mine are all in powder form except for the D3 and it is a gel tablet.

I ran out of his leg and vein vit for a couple of weeks and the pain returned.  Just received yesterday and will see the difference soon I'm sure.

I also take his memory one.  He said the popular one on the market always advertised, doesn't have the needed stuff that his has and he gives a lot of info. on his.  i checked with my Dr. and she said OK to take.  I haven't taken long enough, except i noticed I notice a difference in my attitude. A feel good one.

I take hand fulls of vitamins and supplements daily... all kinds of things. I have been doing this for going on 30 years now. No negative side effects... all good side effects as far as I can see,

I am going to suggest you try digestive enzymes when you eat. I am using Digest Gold right now. They add the enzymes we need to properly digest food. DIgest Gold is not cheap though and you take one per meal. They keep me from having stomach aches after I eat. I have had my gallbladder removed and now I don't digest fat well and my liver shoots out a alot of bile when I eat fat, even avocado or salmon. I can eat some but not daily. I have also used VItamin Shoppe brands. What I don't like about Andrew Lessman is he doesn't always put on the label what is in the supplement, like in his cholesterol lowering supplement. It makes my liver hurt. So I purchase other brands. I don't know if his brands are quality or not. Always read labels. Make sure you are taking enough Vitamin D or getting out in the sun, have your blood level checked. Many older adults lack enough Vitamin D. I keep my blood level up to 60-80 units of how they measure it. That makes me feel best. Amazon doesn't always have the high quality brands. You can look on Vitamin Shoppe dot com or iherbs dot com and see their brands. But I will say that problem is that since covid some things are in shorter supply or companies aren't carrying as much. If you have a Whole Foods or a Sprouts or Natural Grocers or anything like that, you can go there and find quality brands.

The first thing you can do is speak with your doctor or nutrionist.  A lot of the supplements we take, we don't need every day.  Some we need to replenish daily and some are stored in our fat cells to be used when needed.  Water soluable vitamins are ok to take everyday (Vitamin C) but many others you don't need daily.

Speak with your nutrionist on the best way to get your dietary needs.  They should run a CBC to see if you are getting enough Calcium, potassium, Vitamin D and so on.

Have you found the cause of your sensitive stomach? Dr. Becker talks about dysbiosis all the time, emphasizing the importance of gut health.

I know I couldn't do without my supplements, and DH has different supplement needs.

Look for easy-to-swallow capsules and chewables.

But also try to eat and drink as healthy as possible.
