After I had a series of blood tests, the only negative thing that turned up was a significant deficiency in Vitamin D. My physical complaints are general aches and pains, depression, scalp pain, sleep that is not refreshing, etc. My doctor prescribed a Vitamin D regimen that starts out with 50,000 units of Vitamin D/week for 8 weeks and then a lower dose after that. She also prescribed gabapentin at night and it does help me sleep better and keep the weird scalp pain away.
I'm wondering if any of you have/had this deficiency, how it made you feel, if you noticed any difference after taking the Vitamin D, etc.
Thanks!
