I swear, my body has trouble with everything.

Anyone ever take Vitamin B complex and have problems with it?  I used to take it years and years ago with no issues   Then I stopped.

I ordered a new supply and they arrived today and I took my first one after lunch. Let's just say that my system didn't handle it well. I am not willing to try those again tomorrow. It is incredibly frustrating. I had some health issues last year and my already sensitive system is even worse than it used to be. Things that people routinely eat or supplements they take, I just can't.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I have taken B complex in the past, but they tend to keep me up at night....(probably the B12). Can you try taking a much smaller dose earlier in the morning? I had to dose mine when I woke up and had them with breakfast. Otherwise I'd be up all night.

@Effie54 - thanks for responding. They're capsules and I just took one, so I can't lower the dose. And, I don't sleep as it is. I can't take anything that might keep me up. Anyway, so discouraging.

I take B Complex daily. I use liquid not capsules and take it with breakfast. You're supposed to take it with food in the morning. And drink lots of water. Capsules and tablets really tore my stomach up. I used to take it with coffee on an empty stomach.  I quickly learned my lesson.

@gidgetgh  Years ago my doctor gave me a B12 shot.

When I got home, I cleaned my house from top to bottom so good everything was "sterilized."  You could eat off the bathroom floors.

I wasn't even tired or exausted when done. Smiley Surprised  I am lazy by nature.

I only take B-12 500mg sublingual melting tablet. I buy Lifeextention.   The regular b-12 can have  too much niacin in it , which mkes my heart race, with flushing and anxiety. i used to get the shots, which helps with fatigue, and some anemia. Now Drs will only give it to you for medical reasons like Pernicious Anemia.  And deficiency. I buy the under the tongue lozenges in the low dose and it works well

I have taken a B-complex for years. I always take mine in the morning. If something is going to give me energy, I want it to be early in the day.

And you can cut a capsule in half. It has to be cut with a pill cutter and it can't be a liquid gei. I do it all the time.

@NEvans2 - I should have been more specific. My capsule is just a gel or whatever casing. And the inside is powder. It was Andrew Lessman's B complex I tried. So you can't cut it.

When I took them years ago, it was a hard capsule/tablet and after awhile, my body wouldn't break the capsule down anymore.

I would consider taking a 'low-dose' B complex. That kind doesn't have the high amounts found in most B complex supps but instead contain B vitamins at or close to 100% of the RDA amounts.
