Lessman's has ghinko in it which I don't want.

Why ask laypeople a question like this? Ask your MD or optomistrist. People, eyes are important.

Your dogs teeth are important. Ask the professionals not people on this forum. IMO.

I use a combo of Lutein & Zeaxanthin.

My ophthalmologist advised me that a supplement wouldn't benefit my eye issues so that's a nice savings.

A specific combination of vitamins and minerals may slow the progression of some eye diseases.

The supplement studied was called AREDS2:

containing vitamins C, E, lutein, zeaxanthin, zinc, and copper.

Study spearheaded by the National Eye Institute published in the journal Ophthalmology in July 2024.

Re: VITAMINS FOR EYES

[ Edited ]

My ophthalmologist and my Retina Specialist both recommend PreserVision AREDS 2 to all their patients.

There are a few different formulas. Some versions are just for eyes, some have multi vitamins in them as well.

They even have discount coupons in their office to use.

Mine has those coupons, too, @Carmie but didn't recommend that I take them.

I was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration about 7 or 8 years ago, as was my sister.  Both of us immediately started the PresserVision Areds2 and are doing well with no progression.

My ophthalmologist recommended AREDS2. Have been using it for several years. I get it at Costco since the bottle is bigger (210 ct) and it is usually on sale.
