Urine neurotransmitter testing

Hi everyone. I have been having a really difficult time of it lately, all my hormones have been off and my ND has me on a little of this and a little of that. First everything was low, then progesterone was low so cream was added and my testosterone is 3xs the normal high.

I have been suffering the past few weeks of really bad depression and emptiness. i don't know how to explain it, I just feel like an outer shell. I have nothing to be depressed about so we (my ND and I) are trying to figure out what is going on.

ND wants me to do a 24 hour urine test that tests serotonin, GABA, dopamine and a bunch of other stuff. Problem is it is out of pocket and $240. I was wondering if anyone here has done such a test and if it was worth the cost.

btw, the urine goes to a lab called Pharmasan Labs in WI.
