They did my procedure around 3:30PM yesterday and I was in my room by 5:30.The nurses walked me from one end of the hall to the far end hall, which was very OK.My non operated knee was hurting but the surgical one was fine. Today the PT guy walked me the same distance and showed me some tips for using the walker, and adjusted the height of the walker as well. Then I was discharged home with a home care nurse coming to do the dressings every day for a week. I am able to bend my knee about half way and the little bit of pain is very easily taken care of by percocet.Walking with thew walker is fine - all & all this procedure is miraculous.
