@Kachina624   I'm so sorry you've got the flu.  I hope the Tamiflu helps and you feel better soon.

I'm so sorry you feel badly.

  I still get my yearly flu shot just like I did when I taught.

I did have full blown flu in about 1990.  Talk about rough!!!!Smiley Sad

@Kachina624

You're still able to drive to the drugstore and that's important to know.

I'll be waiting for more updates.

Hope you feel better soon.

I've read that xofluza is the best treatment for flu. Better than tamiflu but whatever works.

For me, I haven't felt good since I got the flu shot over a week ago.

It's only my second one I've ever got.

The first one a few years ago I had no reaction but had the worst I don't know what it was that year-so did my whole family-maybe covd before they knew what it was?

This year I got my second ever flu shot and it was the "sr" one I felt awful and my arm is still sore over a week later. I had nausea, headache,

chills

Now I feel like I have a cold and just about everything you are feeling.

So who knows?

I don't. I guess I'm glad I got it but don't know if I will get it again next year, at least not the sr one.

All the years I never got the flu shot, I never had the flu, just a summer cold every July, which maybe was allergies.

Who knows?

At this point, I don't know. Everyone reacts differently. I certainly don't want to get the flu but I also know these vaccines do not protect against every strain.

@Kachina624    Your symptoms sound AWFUL....I'm sending you some cyber ENERGY!    Ask the pharmacist if you can take some elderberry with the Tamiflu.    HeartKitty

@on the bay - I get a flu shot every year and this year I did feel ill after it.  This has never happened to me.  I was tired and achy.  Thankfully, it only lasted a day or two.  I will continue to get the shot every year because the one year I didn't I was VERY sick with the flu.

For the first time ever, I was tired after receiving my flu shot. My arm was somewhat sore. I take the senior dose and never miss getting a flu shot so I wonder if this year's mix had more varieties of flu it was trying to stave off.

Anyone who has ever had flu knows it is a small price to pay to avoid having it again.

@FastDogWalker2,

Thank you for the validation. I know it's not just me!😟

and @Kachina624,

I hope you feel better soon and the tamiflu knocks it out of the park!
