@Effie54   Thank you so much through all of this 😊. I honestly don't know what I'd do without being able to talk to YOU and the rest of the community about this problem.

You are so welcome. I'm happy to be of help. I know first hand how frustrating and anxiety producing navigating insurance/Medicare can be. I take a migraine medication which is very pricey, and my insurance doesn't cover it....and yes, it's a hassle. I cringe when I have to have it refilled. I'm here for you. Please keep me posted. 💖💖

Re: Prescription Insurance Nightmare

UPDATE:  Well, my new insurance for the month of January ended up approving all my meds for the month--Woo-Hoo!  I almost cried at the pharmacy whenever I found out.

As it stands with my old insurance company that will go back into effect starting February 1st, I've received two letters telling me my new card and payment information will be arriving next in separate letters.  I noticed on my paperwork they are still using my old customer id number. lol.  Now, I just have to get them paid and new requests for my meds approved again.

I want to thank EVERYONE who posted in this thread from the bottom of my heart....I mean it.  I was having a mini nervous breakdown over all this and you all listened and allowed me to share this with you.  I can't tell you how much your advice, suggestions and even comforting mean.  I'm so glad I have you all, my forum friends.  You've made a big difference in my life 😊❤️💕.

Re: Prescription Insurance Nightmare

In my experience they say " your call MAY be recorded"....I doubt they ever record them. I just keep my own documentation. I have a notebook right now that is almost full from just dealing with my new ridiculous Express scripts. The pharmacy is mad, I am mad, and my dr is mad. He gave me two months' worth of samples today because he said the " imbeciles who work there will take that long to figure it out". Make sure to ask their name ( but some will give a fake name) and note the exact date and time you called....I write as much summation as I can so I have it to refer to later.

I wish you luck and patience!
