Re: Two Ladies After Their Pilates Class!

They do look amazing and I'm guessing it's because they did not let themselves "morph" into little old grumbling ladies who watch tv all day. They did as so many elders are doing today; they aged (we all do) but they continued being themselves. They are stylishly dressed, obviously they take care of the bodies, hair and complexions because that's who they are. They always did that and they just continued. At 54, I love seeing examples of women in their 70's, 80's and beyond who live life to the fullest and are HAPPY in the here and now. I'm lucky in that I have such a role model in my life. My bff is now 73 years old and just as glamours and full of life and forward thinking as she was when she was 53. Not in a "trying to hard" way, I've never know her to lie about her age and she certainly could. She just believes in an "ageless" lifestyle. She retired two years ago and started a Master's Degree program last month. It's an 18 month program and when she gets her degree, her plan is find a part time teaching job in a community or junior college. Just a class or two each semester because she says 75 will be to "too young" to sit and do nothing...

Re: Two Ladies After Their Pilates Class!

I met a lady at the gym who goes on the treadmill for45min and the rower for 15min followed by 15min of hand weights daily.I was talking to her about my routine when she told me that she is 88 years old and that she would love to spend more time talking but she had a bridge game in half an hour. She also told me that she is far too busy for TV....she is my role model
