I have the same but its my middle finger and ring finger. I ordered some splints from Amazon and wear them only while I sleep. Problem solved. My fingers no longer get locked up.

I have been taking P-5-P for about a month now..Noticed getting better after about 2 weeks and haven't had to use the splint ..but not 100% yet so still taking...But it is soooo much better...

Just over a year ago, I had a center trigger finger operated on.  Real painful to get back to normal before surgery.  Well worth it!!

Wow, I can't believe this.  I just went to a doctor this past Thursday and saw this thread. I've had that locking in my right thumb for over 3 weeks and finally went to a orthopedic doctor who specializes in hand issues.  She knew right away what is was and I received a cortisone shot at the base of the thumb between thumb and forefinger.  She mentioned it might hurt but only for a few seconds. I was nervous because I heard cortisone shots hurt.  It hurt for like 3 seconds and then  a bandaid and I was on my way.  She told me it can take a while to kick in and now I wait.  She also said some people need another shot or more to see results.  The shot, if it helps, can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, with some people never having a problem again.  So I will see what happens with me.  She mentioned surgery as a last resort, but it didn't seem that bad.  It would be post surgery inconvenience with the hand that would bother me.  But I will cross that bridge when and if I get to it.  Hope this helps.  As of today, Sunday, I am still clicking.  Thank goodness my husband can help opening jars and things that are hard to grasp without hurting.

I replied further up but wanted to give an update.

I’ve read several times how a good quality Turmeric supplement can help inflammation. My husband several years ago had such pain in one of his toes and he went through so much to get any kind of diagnosis or treatment. The last doctor suggested amputation. I was not going to allow that. I felt comfortable giving him supplements, and one of them was Andrew Lessman’s Turmeric. It was like a miracle how that helped him. When he ran out, he picked some up at Walmart and the pain came back. It was not a good product. He wanted me to order the Andrew Lessman ones and didn’t want to run out of those again.

So recently I ordered some bottles. The pain in my hand is gone and finger rarely locks. If I could show you how much my hand hurt and how it affected me to now and how I can open and close you’d see why I’m amazed. I will always try (good) supplements over anything else.
