Re: Tooth Extraction Tomorow

I had an infection in one of my two front teeth and had to have both front teeth pulled last month. The oral surgeon swabbed the area with a numbing agent before they used the novocaine (or whatever it was) and I didnt feel anything. It was quick and painless. My only discomfort was from the "flipper" they put in immediately...the first time I took it out my gums were swollen and it was hard to get out. After a few days it wasn't a plroblem.

I took an antibiotic for the infection, which cleared up quickly, and tylenol for discomfort. I didn't have any pain.

As others have said, oral surgeons are very skilled at this. And dental surgery has improved so much in the past years.

Best of luck!

@LTT1 I hope all went well for you.  You are on the other side of this now, thank the good Lord.

You mentioned you have many dental problems through the years.  As a fellow "tincture" user, Google Myrrh.  It is a must to have on hand.

@tends2dogs

thank you I will google myrrh tincture!

Well, I didn't have the tooth extraction yet! I arrived to the place but became concerned...

was I having anesthesia or not?

The office told me I wasn't... but I'd want anesthesia. So, they re-scheduled it for July 1st!

Unless it's really hard,  I would think that they would use  novicane.
