You poor thing.  It doesn't take much to throw us off balance.  Hope you didn't break a bone in your hand or wrist.  Take it easy today.  Get checked out if you don't feel better.  Take care.

@rms1954 I started taking Alpha Lipoic Acid several years ago and it has made a huge difference, it helps with my neuropathy. I've used Jarrow Alpha Lipoic Sustain® for 9 years.

@We rescue cats I've taken this for years too along with Andrew Lessman's Circulation and Vein Support.  Both have really helped.  And no more restless leg syndrome either.

I tried Andrew's formulation for about 6 months, went back to Jarrow's Sustain, it works better for me. We are all different so good to have choices.

It's really frightening to have all those falls.  Hope you have a speedy recovery.

@rms1954  Just FYI. A severe fall on your butt cheek can lead to bruising, inflammation and internal bleeding. These injuries can cause nausea as a symptom due to the body's response to pain and stress on the digestive system. If you experience nausea after a fall, it is important to seek medical attention to rule out any serious injuries or complications.

@elated   especially so if one is on a blood thinner

Maybe check if your wrist is broken since you landed on your hand.  I fell forward last year and broke right wrist and fell backward this year and broke left wrist.

I fell three years ago on uneven cement. I put my arm out straight to catch myself and thought I broke my wrist. The doctor had the foresight to x-ray my entire arm. It turned out my wrist wasn't broken but my radial neck in my elbow was fractured due to the jolt. Hope you feel better soon.

You stated that you're nauseous. Did you hit your head? If you did then, chances are you may have a slight concussion. Sorry to hear that you took a fall. Unfortunately, after a certain age, it seems to be happening to a lot of us. I guess as we age we need to take it easier and be more aware of our surroundings. I totally understand where you're coming from and I hope you're feeling better soon.
