Has anyone found the knee high wide calf compression socks to be helpful?

I purchased the TSV a few weeks ago (?) and do not find them to be anything special...

Also, having a tough time getting them on...

Any suggestions for comfortable compression knee high socks?

Thanks...

@Neversaynever3dogs

I have venous insufficiency in one leg and I tried Legacy brand (here at QVC) and like them so much better than the many I've bought and tried.

They aren't hard for me to get on and they compress enough to reduce swelling and improve circulation, yet don't feel like I have a hungry boa constrictor wrapped around my leg, LOL!

I even bought some 'as is' (to get different colors) and they didn't seem like they had even been tried on, but I washed first, just in case.

Good luck and I hope you find some that work well for you!

While I would love to wear the compression stockings that are fashionable, due to a prior DVT I wear the medical grade with a very strong compression.

The reason I mention this is that my mother wears the the knee high in the medical grade and she has open toe (as do I but I wear a thigh high stocking on one leg with open toe--sandals are important Smiley Happy)

The medical grade high compression stockings are somewhat difficult to put on but once on I do not find them to be uncomfortable. Those of us with venous insufficiency really need these. I do use a metal frame to get them on which makes it a lot easier. I wear the open toe ones also. My problem is that at the end of the day I'm too tired to get them off!

I like mine. They give support and keep my legs warm.
