I wait one hour after eating. I think he means don't take a calcium pill for 4 hours.. You can eat your breakfast  wait 1 hour only. This should be on your med bottle.

@HLP you should be taking  your meds 1 hour BEFORE eating on an empty stomach, not after.  The point is to take it on a completely empty stomach and 1st thing in the morning before you eat or drink anything assures that.  Your stomach is not completely empty only 1 hour after eating.
