I have had some Thyroid Nodules for several years now. I had an ultrasound & biopsy last July & another ultrasound last month which showed they have got a little bigger since July. I told my Endocrinologist I would like to have them out before they turn into cancer & he said we could do that. He has now scheduled me for a CT scan of the neck & a Barrium Swallow. When I scheduled the appointment at the hospital for these tests, I was told I would also see a Speech Therapist after the tests. I am just getting nervous ab out this whole thing. Don't know why I would be seeing a Speech Therapist after these tests. Just wondering if anyone out there has ever had Thyroid Nodules & what did you or what are you doing about them. Any replys will be most appreciative.
