You have been given good advice. I had a replacement in May and really have nothing to add. Other posters have covered it well.

Unfortunately, I FELL the day after my surgery, so I had to go to Rehab. I wasn't prepared and I ran out of clothes.
This is a ridiculous statement - no one HAS TO leave the hospital on a certain pre determined day! Every case is different. What if your wound was bleeding? Or you had a fever? some people vomit from anesthesia for several days post op, what if you could not stand or walk? BP really high or low? Many many reasons why an individual case may be held in the hospital for more than 3 days.
