Re: Sweaty Hands

[ Edited ]

A dermatologist once offered to provide free Botox treatment for me when it was first being used, for students to observe. It was going to be numerous injections that did not last that long and would have been very expensive to keep up. As an adult, I had learned to live with it at that point. I have so much empathy for your dear granddaughter.

I didn’t seek treatment until I was an adult and Drysol did help. Strange as it sounds, what has helped me the most was moving to a warm/dry climate where I don’t have to wear socks(both feet/hands stay drier). Sorry, that’s a pretty drastic option. I never really discussed this with anyone growing up, just did everything I could to hide it. I’m glad your granddaughter has support and can get help.

I suffered from the same thing. It finally went away when I grew up.

Mine was so bad I had to put a cloth on the papers when I was writing. For me I think it was nerves. It makes me sad

when someone has this problem. I received no help. I hope the your GD gets help.
