@ccassaday So glad to hear you're on the mend. I could come and give you tutoring on how to gain and keep weight on. I am an expert. Can you talk? Order your shakes with "extra chocolate". So much better tasting.

Good to hear the first surgery went well. I drink chocolate flavor Boost. It tastes very good and will provide protein and the nutrients you need for a good recovery.

I would imagine you will lose weight, whether you want or not. I hope to hear about your progress and the progress of the new house.
I only weigh 102 lbs.
Wow @ccassaday, then those shakes are really in order! Swift healing and strength to you!

@ccassaday I'm happy to hear number one is done. A friend of ours had jaw surgery years ago. She went the milk shake route, until the phlem started, that really scared her. I would make sure to drink plenty of water in-between to keep the 'line' clear. I too think protein shakes would be good.
Maybe check with a health food store about powders to embellish the protein, calorie and taste of your beverage.
I hope you will be just fine on the pain end of this.
Just sit back and sip, put your feet up and look at building a house, furnishing a house, etc. on the internet. How much fun that will be.
God bless friend.
