The FDA oversees saftey, quality and labelling of supps. The FDA does not evaluate or approve supps.

The NIH provides educational/research materials for many brands and types of supps.

The USP and the NSF provide certifications and standards for supps for the public to access products which have been evaluated against set levels of quality and performance. Not all supps fall under thoses standards or can have certifications.

Each time i have asked my doctor about certain supplements,i never get the impression he knows much about them.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

Trust me , he doesnt . My doc is wonderful but she gives me blank stares when I bring up supplements. Like I said before you need to be your own advocate. The one I trust is Dr Andrew Weil, you can refer to his site, he is trained in both traditional med and homeopathic.

I take a multi vitamin with C, calcium with D and Zinc, vitamin D, and collagen peptides. Once these jars are gone, I'll switch over to regular tablets. Although delicious, I don't want to waste my carbs on all these gummies 😋
