I have had pain in my right big toe for years and my old chiropractor used to adjust it and use acupuncture on it. That was maintenance. Long drama-filled story I'm not telling here but I had to quit seeing that doctor and found a new one who only works on my back and nothing else; which is OK but not great.
I diagnosed myself as having a bunion and got confirmation from my massage therapist. Looked up exercises on line and hurt like crazy the next day. I guess I need to go to a podiatrist. It's really scary, because I have major back problems and exercising is so important. Now it hurts when I walk.
Anybody with experience and suggestions?!? TIA.

Go to a podiatrist. Your self-diagnosis is probably worse than theirs.

You must see a podiatrist, soon. Self-diagnosis is not a good idea. It will only get worse until you see the proper medical professional, whatever it is. Hopefully, it's nothing harmful, but why risk it ? You only have two feet, best take care of them, kinda tough to go without them.
