Anyone ever had that done? My daughter just went thru this yesterday, having her stem cells removed and injected into her shoulder. She did not want to get surgery done because of the long recovery time involved, having her arm immobolized against her chest for a long period of time. She said the removal was not pleasant, and the cost was $3,000 and not covered by insurance. Hope it works for her, just wondering what the long term effect will be.

@chlema I wish her health and a quick recovery....surgery is to always to be the last choice.

I remember Suzanne Somers discussing this on Dr Oz a few years ago. she apparently went thru this on her breast where she had the lumpectomy, it was to help restore it to its natural shape after the surgery took away so much of the tissue. She said it was very up and coming.

@tends2dogs Spoke with her today and she said she thinks it may be working, having less pain each day. Friday she went to a rock concert lol. Here's hoping she continues to improve.

I appreciate your update on your daughter, @chlema. I feel if we can all share our experiences, then this brings a better purpose for this forum.
I am happy it is working so far. She will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers!

My nephew just had Stem Cells removed and put back in to help with MS. He went from wheel chair bound to walking without a cane in two weeks. This was done in May 2017 and he is now working doing landscaping. It's been a miracle. His cost $16,000 and was not covered by insurance.
I showed this to a friend who was just diagnosed with Parkinson's. He is now signed up for stem cell transplant to fight his disease.

Years ago, a friend of my husbands had this done in Seattle, Washington. He had some kind of Lymphoma. He is doing good. I just asked my husband, he thinks insurance paid for his friend's stem cell treatment.
Why is this not approved for more diseases/issues?

@esmeraldagooch Hi-did your nephew undergo the chemo treatments too?

No, Cakers. They removed his own stem cells , treated them and put them back in. They are pink. He got Ms in high school and has been slowly going down hill having MS for over 20 years. This has been a god send. There were two options StemGenex in San Diego and Newport Beach, CA Dr. Arata. They chose the latter.
