@granddi What is it with collagen supplements? I have tried several (Vital Proteins, etc) and had to stop taking them every time. They cause me major stomach upset.
I have the same problem! I take Consult Beaute(Dr. DuBrow)Colla-Holla or Alaya. Both cause me tummy discomfort and gas. Any suggestions? What about Andrew Lessmans Secure Meal replacement? It contains 7 grams of Collagen.
I'm not really worried about this but I may just mychart message my GI doc.

I am going to cut back on the amount taken per dose and see if that helps and/or add some OTC digestive enzymes. It seems that some people just have more difficulity digesting protein (or fatty foods).
Thanks to all for the discussion.

I've been using a liquid protein (hydrolyzed collagen). It's easy to just take it off the spoon or it can be mixed in a little glass of water. No issues whatsoever.

I have had Dr Mercola's organic collagen capsules; organic bone broth-based recommended to me by several friends. I have not ordered them yet but I know I can't stand the powders and mixing into anything everyday, so capsules sound more appealing. The only issue I have is that the capsules are huge! No one who recommended this brand has menteioned any tummy troubles after taking them.

I take Andrew Lessman, Marine Collagen Peptides with MSM twice a day, never experienced any issues in fact helps with my gut health among other things.
Procap website: Andrews website on sale always buy the largest size stock up when it's on sale.
In my opinion knowing his quality would never take another brand of collagen or any other supplements.

UC II Collagen is the best if taking for arthritis and joint health, I think it helps with my knee pain.
