Squeaky Pilates machine question

Bought my Aero Pilates machine about 2 years ago. Love it still, but it's starting to make awful squeaking when the pad rolls back and forth. I called Aero Pilates and they suggested using a silicone lubricant spray on the track. Tried that and it made it much, much worse! (Thanks a lot, Aero!) I had to rub Goo Gone on the track to get the silicone lubricant off. Now it's back to normal squeaks. Does anyone have a trick to keeping the squeaks at bay? Thanks in advance for any ideas.
