Please do not take your medical advice from well meaning posters.  While it may be true some of these suggestions may help, only your doctor or dentist can evaluate your condition.

I have actual sore patches in my mouth it is called Oral Lichen Planus.  I use Magic Mouthwash.  It is an autoimmune condition.  Can you see anything in your mouth or on your gums?  If so, go to your dentist.

Because you have dentures, is not a reason to believe you don't need to see a dentist when you have a problem affecting your gums or other conditions of the oral cavity or jaw.  Their education is equivalent to that of a physician, and realistically they spend most of their career looking into peoples' mouths compared to a physician.

There are many situations that can be causing your problem.  You certainly can try some of those recommended here, but if it persists, please make an appointment with a reputable dentist.
