Never had one.

Do you exercise about a half hour a day and take vitamins like magnesium.
Qi jong is really easy and helps with breathing exercises.
If I tried a sleep study would be up all night worrying about it while it was going on.

Perhaps it will work itself out when you are able to finally get home.

I've had sleep studies done and I see no correlation between that and asthma.
You can start out with an oxygen finger tester that you wear overnight. You really should be a pulmonologist. The test is painless and paid for by medicare.
If your oxygen levels are low that could be the reason you wake up. And if they are too low and you don't wake up you could die in your sleep.
I don't understand your hesitancy regarding this issue.

@I am still oxox If you have sleep apnea, that will show up with a sleep study. If that's your case, perhaps the sleep study people will work with you for other options.
