Sharing Experiences

[ Edited ]

While I am more than happy to share my many medical experiences, I wish those that come here looking for someone that is suffering "similar symptoms" to comment? The word "similar" means very little when it comes to a diagnosis.

There are a few recent posts on this forum where people are looking for more than just someone else's experiences with "similar" symptoms. Nobody here that has the  best interest of an "OP" in mind, will ever give anything that borders on a diagnosis, regardless of having multiple experiences of the word "similar" symptoms.

Those that really care, in my opinion, with share their experiences, and then tell that person to get a diagnosis from a professional in that particular field. I've had my share of experiences with many parts of my body, but that does not put me in a position to diagnose anyone on this forum.

Share what I experienced? Yes. Tell them to do XYZ and it will fix it? Nope.

My best to everyone here and I will be more than happy to share any experience I have had with anyone that asks, but will never pretend it is a diagnosis of their problems.

Great post.

Someone posted a similar sentiment recently on the old forum and got crucified.

Perhaps it's all in the delivery ;o)
