Senior Bully Neighbor - suggestions please

A loud woman neighbor, home all day, talks nasty about everyone and everything, in everyone's business, loves you to your face, stabs you as you turn, throws your name in the mix to instigate a fight for her amusement, horrible toilet mouth, constantly uses racial words, senior citizen bully and the ring leader of her small group - - you may know the type.

Done nothing to her. Avoid her at all cost. Am the best quiet and courteous neighbor in the world. You would love me as your neighbor.

Will not and do not want to confront her. Actually want to slap her face but that would give her more nasty stuff to work with.

Many years ago, confided with her, thought she was a good person until realizing her birth-given nasty two face-ness.

How does one live with these situations?
