Hi all ......

Well, all I can say is I'm glad I didn't know what Dr. O'Brien (my Orthopedist) was going to do before he did it. He said the medial meniscus was shredded, the lateral meniscus was torn and the muscle or ligament that attaches to it had tears in it, which he had to fix, and there is a bit of arthritis in there and some bone fragments "floating around" which he cleaned out. Holy cow! ..... no wonder it hurts. It's amazing how they can do these things through three 1/2" slits. He also told me that since it's only been 10 days, I should continue (?) to take it easy, use ice, take the Advil, and get plenty of rest.

I'm thankful for an excellent doctor, but was quite surprised at everything he had to do.
