Does anyone know of a way to remove urine odor from clothing in the laundry? I am taking care of an elderly parent and I would appreciate any tips . Thanks.

I just want to add, ammonia mixed with bleach makes chlorine gas which is poisonous. Without giving the actual reason, people might mix them thinking it just doesn't work as well, rather than that it's actually dangerous.

A baby powder with baking soda will absorb odors on the skin. Baby Magic makes one.

All great suggestions.

Yes, never mix chemicals. Too dangerous. Some folks have just 'passed out' (and worse) when mixing, say, ammonia with bleach. It happens very quickly/quick, too.
