It really is the first thing you should give up, or at least switch to caffeine free coke.  Try it for a few days if you don't believe me, and no chocolate it has caffeine . I only drink caffeine free and   green tea

Hi @granddi,

 

I have a hiatal hernia plus reflux issues, and I was told by a GI doctor to actually elevate the head of the bed. 

 

I have found that that works the best for me.

 

I had tried doing other things, like propping up with extra pillows, and using a wedge too, but elevating the bed works the best.
