Rash - very weird problem - hoping anyone who has similar problems can give some help

I have had this problem for a number of years. I cannot get any help with it. It is not an every day thing but has severely compromised my life. I have gone to numerous doctors --- different kinds - primary care, allergists, immunologists, dermatologists, etc., etc. No-one has been able to help.

Here's what it is ---

First of all, I am very fair and can't even abide the sun, so I've give up on sun bathing. If I get the least little bit warm and tired, my legs -- usually lower part - from the knees down --- begin to tingle and prickle and burn and within a short time I get small red bumps, which in a short amount of time turn into huge red splotches which kind of fuse and get warm, itchy and very red, almost purple. I have had it so badly that my skin in these areas start to peel. I look like I have a poison ivy, or hives or have been burned - though they are not raised that much. It's like some weird allergic reaction.

I will get this reaction whether I am inside or outside. Whether it is winter or summer. Whether the air conditioning is on or not. It seems to be a thing I get when I am on my feet, in motion for a period of time --- and not necessarily really exerting myself.

No doctors have been able to tell me what is causing this or give me anything to fix it.

They have only suggested bendryl, cortizone, things of this nature -- which are basically usesless.

This condition gradually alleviates itself but it takes weeks and weeks for the spots to totally clear up.

As you can imagine, this is a great source of embarassment and concern for me.

And, I cannot do the things that other people do, such as sight seeing, hiking, or even going shopping for hours at a time. I can't go to amusement parks with my family, or anything where I will be on my feet for hours at a time.

I also cannot wear anything which is tight around my ankles or legs, such as tight socks because this will cause a similar reaction. It's as though my body cannot rid itself of excess heat or something.

Has anyone ever experienced this or ever heard of anything like this? If so, what have you found to help this condition or what type or doctor or tests were done to diagnose it.

Thanks for any and all posts.
