Modern day illnesses can be prevented.
@sidsmom I hope the fallacy of that statement is never proved to you.
I hope not either.
But I’m going to fight tooth & nail, in my power, not to let this happen.
I still have control.
@sidsmom Well, I hope that works out for you. Unbelievable.

It’s very believable.
Something many, many people work on every single day
to reverse their modern day illnesses. Good health is earned.

To say that heart disease is preventable in this day and age can be somewhat true,if you know you have it or have a family history. Twenty-one years ago my younger brother, who was 34, came home from work and was making dinner with his pregnant wife. They were laughing and telling each other about their day when my brother hit the floor and died. A massive coronary at the age of 34. To say that what happened was devastating to all of us is a major understatement. My brother was not overweight, he was active and had just had a physical. Five weeks later his son was born. So maybe some compassion and less judgement would be nice.

The correct response is sympathy. Major fail.

Anecdotal evidence has linked earlobe creases and heart disease since at least 1958, but the topic remains highly controversial. Doctors suspect that creases are merely a phenomenon of aging. Women who wear heavy earrings may develop creased earlobes. Merely sleeping on an ear can cause a crease.

Yet, we all still die of our illnesses.

While I am a believer in staying as healthy/physically and mentally fit as possible! I am disappointed that anyone would, regardless of what they truly believe, start a thread about anyone suffering a serious stroke.
The real reason is obvious to me and I believe to many others that have been on this Wellness Forum for any length of time.
Right now I am stunned and have no desire to get into what might be the cause of anyone's illness. For me it's sad.
