RIP: Luke Perry, 52

[ Edited ]

Seriously?  52 years old.

Heart disease is so preventable.....the age is stunning.

Yes, people do have heart attacks at any age.  A little compassion is appreciated no matter who it is.  You have no idea what his lifestyle is and if it was perfect in your eyes, he could still have a heart attack.

Blaming someone for being sick is reprehensible...

lifestyle is not always the culprit in a heart attack.  there have been many who ate right, exercised, and lived a very healthy lifestyle, to no avail. who knows, it may run in his family. lots of factors to consider without jumping to conclusions.

I wish him a full recovery.  While I don't follow his career, no one except him really knows his lifestyle or health concerns.  Right now, the most important thing is for him to follow his doctor's orders and do everything that he can to get well and stay welll.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

@sidsmom , from what I understand, Susan Lucci ate extremely well, exercised daily, and was thin yet she found out she has heart disease.  Her father also had it, I believe, at a young age.  While you can do a lot to try to prevent trouble, sometimes genetics prevail.

@sidsmom I hope the fallacy of that statement is never proved to you.
