Hi John,

Apparently missed your original post, as I don't come here as much as in the past.

I'm so sorry you had to go through yet another surgery, but am hopeful that with your body of knowledge, you'll take it easy, following orders toward the best healing timeline you could hope for.

Re the urination issue, am wondering if you had a spinal block for your surgery.  If so, that could answer why you're being plagued with this issue.  If you had not had abdominal surgery, I'd suggest you fold both arms across the lower abdomen, then bend forward, while on the toilet.  This is common advice we give those in the hospital who've had a spinal or epi and are having the problem you're having.  But...please don't do this with your abdominal surgery!

Sending you mega positive thoughts, my friend. - Rebecca

Are you telling me that they did a hernia surgery outpatient and sent you home?  Good grief!

I hope you were able to eliminate by now and don't need a catheter.

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.

@hckynut  sounds like you are on the mend👍 Take it easy so you can fully heal.   Plenty of time to work out and skate once you are all healed up. Hope the “P”issue is resolved soon... that is pretty serious.

Keep us updated on your progress.  🙂

Hi John,

I hope that you're doing better by now, and that you didn't need the catheter.

I hope and pray that you'll be back on your feet in no time too, skating and enjoying the things that you like to do, too!

Wishing you and Cindy all of the best! Heart
