Re: Questions For Ladies Who Wear Compression Socks

I Buy mine off of Walgreens.com. They have a great selection. I wear them just about every day.

You should not be wearing anything tight around your knee or hitting right where you have varicose veins - they make full length compression stockings and while I am sure you would prefer to only have to wear the short one you really NEED the long ones that come up as far as a pair of old fashioned stockings used to do. When you go to buy them they need to measure the diameter of your thigh so  they aren't too tight there as well.

Since you and Tansy both mentioned this, I am going  on a mission for the thigh high ones.  Since it looks like I am into this for the long haul,  I might as well try all the lengths and see which ones give me the most relief.

Re: Questions For Ladies Who Wear Compression Socks

I went ahead and ordered some of the Legacy for days I will not be on my feet as much.  My other leg does pretty good.

Re: Questions For Ladies Who Wear Compression Socks

I read with interest the comments on Compression Socks.  I was advised by my Dr. to wear them 24/7.   I have bought several pair but find that they are so uncomfortable, especially around the top of the sock, that I take them off.  The top feels like a tight rubber band that really hurts, and even trying to adjust the top and move it down does not help.  Several have suggested the Legacy Compression Socks.  QVC does sell them and reviews appear to be mixed.  I am willing to order these.  For those of you who have ordered them and like them,  is this what you have ordered? Thanks.
