QUESTION - AL SUPPLEMENTS WITH GINSENG

I take my vitamins with my biggest meal, at dinnertime.

Sometimes I have trouble falling asleep, and am now wondering if the ones I take in the evening that have some ginseng in them could be interfering with my falling asleep.

If you have taken anything with ginseng in it, does it matter when you take it?

Any thoughts or feedback are appreciated.

I was told ginseng is a stimulant.

@IMW

I also had the idea that it was in some instances, but there's nothing in any of Lessman's information about ginseng being so .... or not to take in the evenings.

Things effect everyone differently, depends how sensitive the person may be to something.  I can have a cup of coffee then go to bed no problem,   while most people would be up for hours.  May just have to be a trial and error as to what is causing it.

Someday, when scientists discover the center of the Universe....some people will be disappointed it is not them.

I know one thing Ginsing and Vitamin E will stop hot flashes. I at one time had about 14 people on it, it works.

@Tinkrbl44

For the most energy for the day, I take my supps in the a.m.. Breakfast certainly is not my biggest meal.

But I also take a few at lunch, which is my biggest meal.

The only supps I take at night (after "dinner") are magnesium & vit. D, which act as relaxers.

Can you separate out the ginseng and other stimulants (like Bs) and take them earlier in the day?

(I always spread my Cs out, too throughout the day & evening.)

There are different types of ginseng used in supps. They differ in their ability to provide varying benefits. It's important to know which ginseng is contained in your supp. From there do the research.
