Re: Produce that is “clean” for juicing?

There is no guarantee that farmers markets are what they say they are or are better (fresher maybe) than grocery store from large commercial producers.

At least the commercial stuff has government inspection sometimes.  Just saying--

I come from a farming family, and my relatives lived to their 80s 90s and 100's--including the ones that stood under spray planes dusting crops.  That said, I buy organic when I can, but all in all it is just a choice--not a guarantee.

Don't worry too much about it--buy USA when you can avoid other choices is my best advice.  You have no idea what other countries are doing or what they can buy and use that isn't even available here.

Re: Produce that is “clean” for juicing?

You have to be careful with some sellers at Farmers Market. Some around here have been known to sell produce from the grocery store after their markup?

Buy Organic. Strawberries #1 Dirty Fruit. I only buy it organic. It also tastes like a strawberry. The non-organic strawberries have no flavor?

There's also a list with pictures of other produce tested but did not fit on either list below on EWG site.

Are you able to eat the fruit, it is so much more healthy for you. Juicing takes all the fiber out of the fruit

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

Please use caution.  It takes several pieces of fruit to make a glass of juice.  I know, it feels like it should be healthy but juice contains a ton of sugar.
