I take Culturelle brand. Consumer Reports rated them the highest of the brands they tested as having the most doodads per does.

Costco has the best price and they often have a coupon for them, so I stock up and keep them in the fridge.

I think they work really well. I started a friend on them before a treip to Haiti a couple of years ago. He would be eating a lot of new foods (for him, especially goat). He is the only one who did not get sick the entire trip.

VaBelle35, thank you for the Culturelle name. I am not a member of Costco (I am a member of Sam's) so I will check out some sites online for it.

You may be interested in kefir. It is a cultured milk or water probiotic, that you make at home. Check out "Cultures for Health" website.

Well, I cannot speak to the prices but I did want to share that my husbands GI doctor recommends Florastor for my husband who tends to have (excuse me but I will be graphic) loose stool, and Align for me who tends to have constipation issues. Again, sorry to be graphic. But the doctor said that they are not all the same as far as quality OR (which I never thought about before) helping specific problems. I have been taking Align for three weeks now and I do notice a difference. I understand that outdo carries one of these brands . . . . But for the life of me, I cannot remember which one! Sorry! But I bought both from Amazon so my husband and I could start taking them right away. I will look into Costco next time I purchase them.

What about just yogurt. A doctor told me to use yogurt and it keeps my digestive system running smoothly.

go to VITACOST.COM and type in (15-35) You will see the Probiotic pop up and you can read all the reviews.

It has 15 strains, 35 Billion - Great Probiotic and Great price!! My husband and I have used it for years. I think it helps the immune system, haven't had a cold or flu in about 3 years now (knocking on wood now...) while EVERYONE around us is sick and we are just hoping we don't catch it!
