Does anyone care? I don't really care too much. I mostly watch to be sure none of my guys get injured in the game. You hate to see someone tear an ACL in a meaningless game.

Only two Eagles will be playing tonight. David Akers our kicker and Michael Vick our QB. The rest of the Eagles voted in have opted out citing injuries.

We finally learned what was bothering David Akers in our playoff game against the Packers. There were reports that he had an unspecified "family matter" that may have affected his concentration in the game resulting in the two missed field goals. It turns out that speculation was correct. His six year old daughter was having an issue with an ovarian growth that needed surgery and turned out to be cancerous. The docs think they got all of the tumor however and that she'll end up being fine, but it does help explain his performance that day. Here's a link to the article if anyone's interested.
