Has anyone ever had a tibia tendon transfer? I have a torn posterior tibia tendon and the only thing that would, hopefully, help is a tendon transfer with a heel shift. I'm not thrilled about having it done but if I'm on my feet for more than an hour the foot begins to throb and aches terribly!! I've been dealing with it for almost a year now. I've tried purchasing stability tennis shoes, bought the orthopedic boot and am now in a lace up ankle brace as a last ditch effort for help. However, it's not working so I'm probably scheduling surgery in December.

Was just wondering if anyone has had the same experience?
