My husband is in the hospital still from his colon resection surgery. Found two very small polyps and they were found to have some cancer. I guess this was rare to see. Anyhow, they did a laproscopic surgery 3 days ago. He is having gas pains which is common and cannot eat much because of the gas. He walks the halls a few times a day to help with the gas. Been reading online that people have conitued gas issues from foods like milk etc etc.
Don't know what the doctor will say when he is discharged about possible complications and food issues.
Anyone out there had a resection? Any issues you had to deal with in particular?
Appreciate any comments or advice.
