is much easier when you have cute dishes to help you along.

I just got these yellow ramekins (from the Tara line) and for what seems like the first time in my life, I only ate 1/3 cup of ice cream.  It was just as satisfying as eating right from the carton!

I have no doubt many of you are way ahead of me on this.

Eating from the carton is the best ... gets just a little soft around

the edges .....

Oh, you don't have to explain any of it to me, @Big Joanie

But I'm trying to put those days behind me.

I wish that type of thing worked for me.  Portion control wouldn't help me with icecream, chips, desserts.  All that good stuff.  I know myself.  I'd just go back for a second or third helping.  If I don't want to eat something, I either keep it out of the house or I buy small quantities so that after we each have a serving, it's gone.

This type dish is great for desserts.  Look big from the top but narrows nicely!

Speaking as someone with diabetes, measuring is your friend. It allows you to know just how many carbs you are eating

Homegirl:  I have those exact same ramikins, same color, and I love them.  Going to try it with ice cream as you suggested.
