I was been diagnosed few weeks ago with Polymyalgia Rheumatica and now treated with prednisone. That’s only medication for treating this condition. It’s also a test, if you are getting better with prednisone you most likely having this disease. I’m sick since Feb 2014 with pain all over my body, and shoulder and upper arms the worst. I also have terrible stiffness in all join and muscles. I got better using supplement Zyflamend. My SED rate is now normal, and I generally feel better, but decided on doctor’s recommendation try treatment with prednisone. I have a very sensitive stomach and cannot take some medication, and prednisone is one of them. Now I’m trying to get off it.

My husband was diagnosed with it several years ago. He was on prednisone for almost two years but now he is fine. I remember thinking the symptoms were strange...pain across the shoulders and the hips. Then one day it struck me that if he were a dog, the pain would be across his front and his hind legs. Then it made sense.
