Please Tell Me the Zyrtec Will Kick In!

I've been able to control my seasonal allergies for the past few years with an increase in fish oil, but this year that strategy has NOT worked. I purchased some Zyrtec and I've been taking it for a couple of days, but I am still miserable. I probably waited too long and thus my allergies are raging. Do you think the Zyrtec will finally kick in one of these days? TIA
