I've seen some threads of plant based recipes. Tips & ideas. Thought one was in 'Recipes' but no luck so far finding it.
Maybe another poster can find the threads, link to them.
Will add later if I do.

I can't say I'm all that interested in a plant based diet but I've lost 55lbs and my wellness program that was indeed a diet that focused on fruits, veggies, whole grains with small amounts of poultry or lean beef. I did have a lot of inflammation and cutting out the processed food and the sodium relieved my inflammation. My program provided our meals but I'm on maintenance now and gradually cutting back on the program meals. I'll never totally cut them out. I like the freedom of not having to think about what to make for dinner or lunch when I'm tired or not feeling well or just having a lazy day. I don't eat any breads anymore, not even whole grain breads. My diet is veggies, fruits, protein shakes and small amounts of lean proteins but not beef. Yes, I lost 55lbs but all the more important health numbers like my blood sugar and blood pressure and cholesterol and triglicerides also came way down. I'm definitely healthier and happier. I have broken the sugar habit and I am now at point at which, the way I eat is normal for me. It's funny, I sometimes think about having something but it seems like just thinking about and planning to eat it is enough to satisfy the craving.

Excellent! Takes work. Education. And as the OP said checking with our doc, nutritionist etc to individualize our plan.
End result is great though as you found.
Amazing the changes when we cut the junk out of our diet.

Have you seen the tiny red potatoes? I think I may have mentioned on my Kitty Plant thread that I tried these wonderful little potatoes this week. Got them at my local grocer. Fantastic!

The idea behind a Plant Based Diet is to reduce/eliminate
processed food and animal products/byproducts. If results are
seen by reducing the junk, just think of the amazing results
if one eliminates the animal products.
Here's a chart if anyone has questions. I would've added a 3rd column to specify Low Fat Whole Food Plant Based with a Primary Motivation of HEALING.
The factors would be the same as Health, but it would be a 100% protocol with eliminating oils. THAT'S where big changes occur in healing from heart disease, T2 diabetes, arthritis, obesity, etc.

I've been looking for purples..what do they taste like?
Is that what you had?
Of course Instagram is lousy with purple pictures cuz they're SO
pretty! I need to go to WF and get a bag...bet they have them.
I'm baking up some little fingerlings (white/red) for today...like fries.
ETA:
Thanks for posting PlantFitSummit.
Love how all these webinars are free...especially w/ the level of
PB knowledge...just free for the taking! I noticed my favorite,
Andrew Taylor, "Spudfit", will be speaking as well! Love that guy.
