Has anyone suffered from pins and needles through-out their body? I feel it in my face arms legs and feet. It's annoying and I'm not getting much sleep from it. Thanks.

Years and years ago I had it in my fingertips - seemed to occur when I was stressed. Eventually went away. Never went to the dr for it. Loud noises and the like would set it off.

It can be caused by any number of things from anxiety to thyroid problems. You need to see your doctor for a diagnosis. Good luck to you!!

Just talked to my PCP and she wants me to start taking a multi-vitamin once a day and a Os-Cal twice a day. She said to call her in 3-4 weeks to let her know how I am doing.

I have it on the bottom of my feet. It was a side effect from chemo treatments.

I have had "pins & needles" many times from my choice of physical activites, but NEVER my whole body. Mine most of the time were from hard contact with a person/the ice or a puck hitting me. Most were temporary(a few minutes/weeks or months) depending on the source of the "pins and needles". Some were called (by athletes), a Stinger, which usually subsided in minutes.
Others from the neck to lower back were a bit more serious. The most dangerous, now I am speaking of My issue not YOUR problem. Tingling/numbness with the left side of my body, primarily arm/hand and fingers.
Home alone so drove to ER. EKG/blood protein tests 4 hours apart. Admitted to hospital with suspected/blood clots/heart related issue. VQ scans for PE/Veinous Doppler and Arterial Doppler Procedures/Maximal Treadmill Stress Test with Pulmonary Cart, and finally a Heart Catheriztion Procedure.
Spent 11 days in hospital, 3 of which were on the Critical Care Floor. I am telling this story to inform anyone that is interested. Numbness/Pins and Needles can be something simple or something deadly serious.
For those that have read this far? Do what you wish with info, which is also my true story.

There are a variety of things that can cause that. I have spinal issues from my neck all the way down to my lower spine. I get this often. It's nerve pain. But that's just my issue. I would get it checked out.
Also, a common overlooked problem that can cause it is low B12.
