Those are just some of the salts we use. There are many more.

There is some promo for a Pink Salt Weight Loss Diet that pops up.  A miracle!  Click here!

Could this be what is being referred to?

Several years ago...

I switched from regular iodized Table Salt to the (trendy at the time) Pink Himalayan Salt for about a year and unfortunately, I developed a small goiter, as a result of iodine deficiency.

I immediately went back to regular salt. Smiley Wink

So my understanding is that it's a combo of Himalayan pink salt, green tea, berberine, and reversatrol.  It's suppose to be the "natural" GLP1.  The main working ingredient is the salt.  I decided to try just the pink Himalayan salt in warm water just to see what the fuss is.  It gave me diarrhea within an hour.  I tried it two more times to see if it was the salt or my diet/probiotic.  It was the salt.

We ( I say we, but mostly DH) use Pink Himilayan Sea Salt for seasoning, but we also eat out a lot, so I know we're getting regular salt as part of our diet.  The pink salt doesn't contain iodine which is needed for thyroid health.  I'm already hypothyroid as it is.

I have not read the hype about pink salt, but as a RN, I would say be careful about what you believe. I had a heart failure patient recently who thought that she was doing her body good by eating pink salt.

Heart failure patient's have to limit their salt intake or they will retain water and the heart will have to work harder to keep the blood pumping. Please be careful with what you believe and put in your body.

Am quite sure that Miss O has not endorsed this so-called diet--prob just an AI generated rep of her. Would NEVER take any of what you see like this on YT or any other social media as anything more than a huge hand waiting/wanting to take your$$. total BS!!!
