Physical therapy worked well for me. Took some time but haven't really had any Further issues.

Good suggestions here. Thank you, I appreciate it. Q4U, what a terrible accident. Thank goodness your DH was home to get you immediate medical attention and that you had a good outcome.

Yes...it was incredibly painfully, had numbness, pain and tingling..I went to a chiropractor ...it took several months and I went a few times a week, but became pain free!

Chiropractic. One visit and you'll be pain free. Use cold not heat if you are doing anything else.

If you have a chiropractor and/or acupuncturist you trust, that would be my first recommendation.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.

Valleygirl, I'm so glad you recommended Dr. Sarno's book. Years ago I often had lower back problems and also sciatica at times. I blamed it on lots of physical library work. Then I read two of Dr. Sarno's books; in fact, I read them both at least twice. You have to be open minded and willing to try his methods, but they sure worked for me. This has nothing to do with drugs or physical exercise. The subconscious mind is a powerful thing.
