I have the 4 cord machine with the stand. I also subsequently purchased the pull up bar and the ballet barre. I love this thing. I am 71 years old and bought it in 2010 and put all of it together myself. I lugged each piece upstairs by myself. With the lugging and assembling, bathroom breaks, water breaks, etc., it took me about 3 hours to get it together. It was not difficult. The directions were spot on.

At my age I have no chance of getting beyond Level 2. I don't care. I love it. It has helped the osteoarthritis I have in my knees, improved my posture, and helped me get rid of the belly fat. I have had some weight loss but not significant. I also have increased flexibility in my neck.

The videos were sufficient for me. I have not felt the need to take a class. Marjolein pretty much spoon feeds it to you in the videos. There are some things I cannot and will not ever be able to do. I can't get on my knees so those parts of the regimen are out for me. But, everything else is just great. The rebounder is nice because I can "jog" without hurting my knees. The ballet barre is great for me. It is gentle and I can't do all of the exercises but the ones I can do are so helpful for my flexibility.

I have the original 4 cord w/ a stand and the rebounder...didn't know there was a ballet bar. Will have to look into that.

I run and walk a lot...but have used my machine for years and just love how it makes me feel. I tend to use it at night for about 45 minutes or so to stretch and work the legs, abs and upper arms. It does seem to keep my limber and during various ailments, it's been the only thing that I've been able to do to stay active.

I don't think there is any learning curve at all and you can totally make this work for any fitness level.

Good luck and enjoy.
