There is cheaper Lipowheat on the market.....do your homework. It is a trademark Lipowheat at 350 mg a soft gel that many labels use...the added biotin is cheap to add. Andrew over charges on most all of his formulas. Buyer beware.

How many caps do you take a day?
@Shaunac Just one.
I said when I purchased it that I may do 2 in the winter, I'll just see how my skin feels.
Andrew and Muriel take 2, but they live in the dessert, so I imagine that makes sense for them.

Hi @Suebdoo

I just watched a brief presentation on this. Andrew said the biotin is mixed in with the gel coating. It is in powder form and doesn't mix with the liquid. How creative!

want to try this one but will wait. I have a feeling if this has a good following it will be a TSV with the collagen peptides or the HH. Don't want to take too many vitamins.
Sticking to TSV's restricted me from over purchasing but Andrew seems to have increased the # of TSV's now....![]()

I ordered the phytoceramides to try. I have had a lot of issues with dryness with my scalp & face so thought I would see if this would help. I guess it's also suppose to help with hair growth from what I read. His product really is not any more expensive if you figure the price per capsule on the largest size. I found some others that cost more per capsule than his does. I bought largest size. I figure if I don't have results in the 8 month period I will not purchase again. That's taking 1 per day.

I probably would try it but I can't use his products that have biotin in it. For some reason, his biotin makes me sick to my stomach and I actually break out when I take anything of his with biotin- and I don't have issues with acne or breaking out normally! It is the oddest thing because I can use other brands' biotin with no issues. ! I wish you could get it without biotin.

@HappyDaze Hi, I read the phytoceramides are suppose to clear blemishes. I did not know biotin would cause them. Wonder if that has anything to do with my breakouts? I was only getting them around my temple area but now also in other areas on my face. I hate it. I'm too old to have acne. I think mine must be from all the stress I have been dealing with lately. I did not want to pay $140 for that large size but thought why not I spend all kinds of money on skincare. I have always thought products would work better internally over being applied topically.

@Nightowlz If you google biotin you can find some legitimate articles about biotin and how it can affect acne. It is usually at higher doses that biotin can become an issue for some but the dose at which it can "cause" or exacerbate acne can vary from person to person. My derm told me this was likely the issue so I stopped taking his hair, skin, nail supplement I was taking when it started and sure enough it stopped and no more issues. Plus, as I said, they also made me queasy. I'm sorry you are struggling with acne.
retin-a is suppose to work well for both acne AND skin issues like fine lines and wrinkles and for helping to prevent them. Have you thought of trying it?

@HappyDaze I was using Isomers Retiniacin but cannot use it right now. I did buy a set of the Proactiv to try. At 1st my face was clearing up & still is but looks like I keep getting some kind of flare up on my left cheek. Wondering if I might have Rosacea. I cannot use the Proactiv on my forehead & it's making my face face drier. Don't know how else to get rid of the acne without using these products that dry out your skin. I'm hoping the phytoceramides will help since it says they work from the inside out. If they don't help & my acne gets worse after using I will have to go to a dermatologist.
I have been queasy for a long time. I thought it was from my gallbladder since I need to have it removed. Maybe it's the biotin. I already took 2 biotin today. Maybe I should stop taking them or try taking 1 daily & see what happens. I know my nails will go back to being really soft.
